Italian Pastries Galore

If you’re looking for an excellent pastry La Deliziosa is the spot. It’s a small Italian pastry shop located in Poughkeepsie’s Little Italy. The name of the shop translates to The Delicious, which is the perfect name for it.

The first thing you’ll notice when you enter is the heavenly aroma. It makes you feel at home, like you’ve walked into Grandma’s kitchen. The next and most important thing you’ll notice is the vast variety of baked goods. They have Almond Cigars, Napoleons, Zeppoles, Moretti, Cannoli Tarts, Marzipan, Sfogliatelle, Fudge Brownies, and so much more!

Their excellent selection of goodies makes it hard to go home with just one. But no matter what you select you won’t be disappointed. I personally went home with a few goodies to share. My selection included a almond cigar, raspberry cigar, and sfogiatelle. I shared my treats with a special few. So the next time you’re craving something sweet make sure to pay them a visit.
